The gig economy is experiencing a massive overhaul in innovation which is something to be quite proud of. However, where is this significant improvement coming from? Is there anything special with the future of freelancing that is not as extensive as the president?

Of course, AI is one of those lots of reasons we consider the gig economy as very sustainable, equitable and productive for freelancers.

Freelancers that have started taking Al-powered as an important part of their business are already taking a leading role in the market. If this is the case, then you need to start imbibing the future of artificial intelligence too. Else, the industry might just lap your service and productivity in the long run.

In this post, we are going to discuss how AI powered tools are going to affect the gig economy, focusing on the future of freelancing and how you can take your own returns from this unit of industry. Before that, I will also advice you check out ours article on Top 6 Eco-friendly Practices for Remote Workers and 5 Benefits of Gig Economy

Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Gig Economy

Thanks to the advancement of technology, we can now do a lot of things within the blink of an eye, while expecting maximum returns. And this is how it is supposed to be – Life getting softer. This is the gospel behind AI tools.

I’ve used a lot of Artificial intelligence tools and I can say they have made working easier for me. Even though some contribute to my increased laziness… lol. At least, I got time to work on other part of my life and boost my interest in some other things.

AI tools in the gig market offer freelancers the chance to eliminate the menial tasks in their services in order to face more challenges and demonstrate greater abilities on projects.

For instance, I’ve got this freelance friend that offers product designing services. However, recently, he said his productivity skyrocketed because he started taking the use of artificial intelligence seriously. He now uses AI tools for product research, naming layers, developing mood boards and turning his designs to codes directly.

Isn’t this what we can describe as improved productivity? And this directed him to start learning the act of back ends and programming. So, this is what I mean by AI tools upskilling freelancers for the future.

In another perspective, I run a freelance creative agency too, with a co-partner. We used to send around 200 cold emails mid last year. But now, we do 200 daily with Apollo. Even track the email, and program sequence for every type of client out there.

Improved productivity? Obviously, yes. We now close around 10-20 clients daily, instead of the initial 10-20 we were doing before. Now, more creative work for us, unlike before the time we started incorporating AI tools.

On the other hand, some people refer to AI tools as a competition to freelancers and it isn’t. Some even go as far as saying freelancers would start losing their jobs to AI tools. However, if you are able to take up jobs on how to run the AI tools, and embrace the upskilling ability, then Artificial Intelligence will find it very difficult to take you over the depth of your job.
